This entry continues a series of shots that were taken during an incredible trip across four countries around the Alps in mid to late 2015.
This image was taken in Switzerland, quite near the lovely small town of Brienz on Lake Brienz. The mountain is called Klein Wellhorn in the Bernese Alps which has an elevation of 2,700m. To witness such a majestic sight with lush greenery shrouded by this magnificent mountain topped with a glacier, was something that stays with you for a very long time.
It's well worth a visit through the waterfall at the base of the glacier (I might add a couple of shots of the waterfall too soon) if you have the opportunity to visit this part of the world.
